10 Things About Natalie

Design and laughter fuel me.

Transforming a space for a client provides no greater joy.

I lived in Japan. Some 20 years later, it still lives in me.

Succulents, seat heaters and hazelnut chocolate can make any day brighter.

I can talk about wallpaper for hours.

I’m more jeans and t-shirt than dress and heels.

I've lived in six states and two other countries but will always call Texas my home.

I can scale an Alaskan salmon.

There’s no other way to shoot than straight.

Family is everything. The rest is just window dressing.

MEET THE DESIGNER

Award-winning Natalie Howe Design, is proudly based in Austin, Texas.

Whether it’s a bright and stylish mudroom or a stunning whiskey bar, I design spaces that prioritize both functionality and timeless aesthetics.

Over the past two decades, I’ve refined my design process to ensure a seamless experience. This approach eliminates confusion, achieves a singular, distinct vision with my clients, and fosters collaboration with the finest trade partners.

By infusing each project with meaningful details and “pops of joy”, I deliver cohesive and timeless spaces uniquely tailored to you.

My design sensibilities have been shaped by a lifetime of travel and cultural immersion. Having called Japan, Germany, and Alaska home at various stages of my life, I’ve cultivated a diverse and refined design perspective that sets me apart in the industry.

Awards and recognition include:

  • Best Interior Design and Decorating

  • Best Kitchen and Living

  • Best Master Suite and Bath

  • Best Outdoor Living in the Hill Country Parade of Homes

  • Nine-time Best of Houzz winner

My work has been featured in Austin Home and Living, Austin Monthly Home, Austin American-Statesman, Tribeza, Texas Home and Living, MSN.com, and the HGTV Design Blog.

As a graduate of Texas A&M University and furthering my education at the UCLA Interior Design School, I’ve earned recognition for creating spaces that are both personal, livable, and aesthetically impactful.
